2 nectarines

4 smaller strawberries

2 tablespoons strawberry jam

2 tablespoons Marsala

caster sugar 

A quick dessert that can also be made of peaches, but in that case they should be blanched in boiling water for a couple of minutes, peeled, halved and pitted, while the nectarines can simply be just halved and pitted. Replace the stones with the strawberries. Mix and heat up the strawberry jam with the Marsala and spoon on top of the fruits. Sprinkle with a bit of caster sugar. It's nice to leave them rest in the fridge for one or two hours before serving. Serves two.
